Deliciously Simple Vegetable Burgers


Hi Guys! This recipe is SO EASY & HEALTHY!

This veggie burger recipe is seriously so tasty! I have recently started cutting out meat & incorporating black beans into everything I eat! They are so versatile and I find their taste to be really similar to meat. This recipe is packed with healthy vegetables and with all the toppings added, it reminds me of eating a beef burger. I really love combining food to create different flavors.


1 425g can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed with cold water

1 cup cooked or canned black beans

1 tbsp minced garlic

1 cup frozen peas

1 cup frozen corn

1 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup minced purple onions

1/4 cup cilantro finely chopped

1/4 parsley finely chopped

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp paprika

pinch of salt


  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Add all of the ingredients to a food processor and mix on low until well combined
  3. Shape burgers (1/2 cup) and place on a tray lined with silicone or baking paper
  4. Cook for 35- 40 minutes
  5. We used potato rolls & I topped our burgers with provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, purple onions, mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard & Vegan Chipotle Fabanaise.  Use your favorite topping!! (Serves 7-8)
